If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.
It was this exchange of ideas between me and my friends that gave birth to our little team called "UDAAN". Like G.B. Shaw said in the above lines, our ideas multiplied once we came together as a team and thus we thought let us be a team who could bring about those small changes we always wanted to see around us.
We strongly believe that the youth is the most motivated section of the society. We thought we could inspire many other colleges to form small teams like that of ours and work together. And that is how UDAAN was launched, with an aim of inception of ideas into the young minds which could drive them to work for the betterment of society.
"We can lift ourselves out of ignorance, we can find ourselves as creatures of excellence and intelligence and skill. We can be free! We can learn to fly!"
These are the lines from one of my favourite books - Jonathan Livingston Seagull which have inspired us to name our team as UDAAN.
This was how it all began and further our blogs would throw light on the work done so far by the "UDAAN" team.
